Neurosonogram

Neurosonogram is a detailed ultrasound examination of the fetal brain and central nervous system. It is usually performed when there is suspicion of brain abnormality or in high-risk pregnancies.

Why is Neurosonogram Done?

To evaluate fetal brain structure in detail

When anomaly scan shows doubtful findings

In high-risk pregnancies

In cases with family history of neurological disorders

When is it Performed?

It is usually performed between 18–24 weeks of pregnancy, but can be done later if required.
